Thomas Stanley Holland was born in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, to photographer Nicola Elizabeth (Frost) and comedian and novelist Dominic Holland (Dominic Anthony Holland). His paternal grandparents came from Ireland and the Isle of Man, respectively. He shares his home with his parents and three younger brothers, Paddy, Sam, and Harry. Tom was a student at Donhead Prep. After passing the eleven-plus exam, he was accepted into Wimbledon College. Tom began a two-year program at the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in September 2012 after successfully completing his GCSEs. The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology is known for its several distinguished alumni.
